2015: Declare now, Orji urges Jonathan
Abia State Governor, Theodore Orji, has called on President Goodluck Jonathan to declare his intention to seek re- election.
Orji, who made the appeal in Umuahia when he received in audience South-East delegation of “Goodluck Support Groups,” said Jonathan had so far demonstrated that he could lead Nigeria out of the woods.
While calling on his fellow governors to close ranks with the President instead of overheating the polity through sensational comments, Orji said his support for the President “is not cosmetic.”
His words, “My support for Jonathan is total and not cosmetic and we want him to make known his intension to run in 2015 because we will replicate the total support we gave him in 2011.
“Even though he has not declared I will not stop supporting him because I know that he has all it takes to fix Nigeria despite the daunting challenges,” Orji said.
