Niger Govt Sets Up C’ttee On 100 Days In Office, Lists 56 Achievements
A committee on the successful celebration of 100 days in office of the present administration in Niger State has been set up even as the state government has listed 56 achievements so far recorded by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello’s administration.
A statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG) Shehu Umar Danyaya over the weekend disclosed that the aim of the celebration is to avail the government the opportunity to assess the situation of things as well as realign the priority areas in delivering campaign promises to the people of Niger State using available resources.
The SSG explained that 100 days in the tenure of any administration is not a realistic measurement of its achievements, rather a pointer to policy direction of the administration.
Danyaya stressed further that, the administration of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello has seen the 100 days as a veritable avenue for improving the fortunes of the citizens and called on all Nigerlites to continue to have abiding faith in the administration, adding that governance is a human enterprise which makes sense only if it focuses on the betterment of the populace, which the governor is unarguably making history in that direction.
