KogiGovRace: I’ll Make Employment Priority – Baba Alli

A gubernatorial aspirant in the forthcoming Kogi State gubernatorial election, Sulaimon Baba Alli, has picked nomination form to contest the primaries and subsequently fly the party’s flag at the forthcoming election in Kogi state even as he promised to employ more workers instead of retrenchment.

Addressing newsmen after he had paid and received the forms, Baba Alli as he is fondly called said that among all the aspirants he is the most prepared for the top job.

The former Commissioner for Health in Kogi State also revealed that he has prepared a blueprint to rescue the state from the present “backward state”.

“The current wage bill that we have in kogi state I believe has a lot of legs, hands and all of the into it. All those legs and hands that are eating into the wage bill will be removed and once we do that we will have capacity to engage more people into the service.

“Once we are able to do that, we will block the leakages and those gap.” He also promised that when given opportunity he will deal squarely with the issue of corruption in the state, saying, “The decay that has been institutionalised by the PDP led government in the state in the last 16 years.” .
