Ambode’s Victory, End Of PDP In Lagos – Hon Olulade
A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Segun Olulade, has welcomed the ruling of the Appeal Court which upheld the victory of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode at the April 11, 2015 governorship election.
Olulade, who is representing Epe Constituency 2, noted that the ruling was a vindication of the people’s mandate which was demonstrated at the poll, adding that “this has brought an end to the existence of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State.”
The lawmaker said that the decision of the Appeal Court is a further testimony to the affirmation
of Ambode’s victory by the tribunal.
Speaking further, he said, “Ambode’s victory at the polls was adjudged as free and fair;members of the PDP should admit that there is no place for them in Lagos State.
“Lagosians believe so much in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and therefore, will never identify with a party like PDP. The PDP does not need to be told, the Appeal Court ruling will automatically bring an end to their existence in Lagos. “To the people of Lagos, the state is too important to be left in the hands of learners, who will end up running down and destroying the state. We got the people’s support at the election because we took our manifesto to them and they accepted it.
