Super Eagles now 57th in the World

Nigeria's Super Eagles has dropped 14 places to number 57th in the monthly FIFA/Coca-Cola world ranking released Thursday.


The three time African Champions are now ranked 10th in Africa with the Desert warriors of Algeria emerging the best football ranked team in the continent. Other countries ahead of Eagles in africa are ivory coast(21) Ghana(25) Tunisia(32) Senegal(39) Cameroon(42) Congo(47) cape Verde island (52) and Egypt(55) At the world stage, Argentina Emerge number one ranked team in the world after a seemingly impressive Copa America outing with Germany, Belgium, Colombia and Netherland making up the top five teams in the world.

There is no African country listed among the top ten ranked teams in the world.
