Smart Adeyemi Empowers 500 Youths in Kogi West

A total of 500 youths from seven local government areas of Kogi West Senatorial District have benefited from the N10 million largesse from Senator Smart Adeyemi.
The beneficiaries, who are mostly students of tertiary institutions, were among other groups including women, as each got N200, 000.
Senator Adeyemi who represents Kogi West Senatorial District at the National Assembly disclosed this while speaking at the 2014 empowerment programme to the youths at Iyara, headquarters of Ijumu Local Government Area of the state. He stated that his representation at the legislature speaks for itself.
The legislator said that since 2007, he has been upholding the mandate through the process of law making,over sight functions and good representation.
Adeyemi said he has been providing basic social amenities to compliment the contributions of the state government to the infrastructural development of the state Adeyemi who is campaigning for another term, assured that he would not betray the confidence reposed in him.
Adeyemi is the Senate Committee Chairman on Federal Capital Territory, noted that he has been providing series empowerment programmes for women and youths and community development services in the lth,education,commerce and sports sector among others.
