Boko Haram in Fresh Attack on Damaturu
Barely two days after their first attempt, Boko Haram insurgents are reported to have launched another daring attack on Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, Wednesday.
A news bulletin by Radio Continental, Lagos, said the attack this time targeted the City Centre in Damaturu.
lt was however gathered that the onslaught was being repelled by Nigerian troops.
The Islamist extremists had attacked Damaturu on Monday, even targetting the Government House, but were successfully repelled by Nigerian troops.
