APC fixes August 27 for Ondo governorship primary
The National Organising Secretary of the APC, Senator Osita Izunaso, made this known in a statement issued on Monday.
Izunaso said the announcement was in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act, 2010, the Independent National Electoral Commission’s guidelines and the APC’s guidelines.
In the timetable and schedule of activities contained in the statement, the sale of forms would commence at the party’s national secretariat from Tuesday, July 19, 2016, to Friday, August 15, 2016.
The statement said the governorship nomination forms would be sold for N5m while intending aspirants are expected to pay N500, 000 to pick the expression of interest form.
Izunaso noted that the forms were free for female aspirants.
