Support, Pray For Incoming Administration, Jiba Tells AMAC Residents

The outgoing chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Micah Jiba has called on residents of the council to support and pray for the incoming administration of Hon. Abdullahi Candido as he takes over the mantle of leadership come May 17.

Jiba who made this while speaking with journalists said that he is doing everything to ensure a peaceful transition in council, so that the people can benefits fully from the incoming administration.

The outgoing AMAC boss also commended residents of the council for their support and prayers in the past six years as the chairman of the council, saying that without their prayers and support his administration would have failed.

According to Jiba, he knows that Candido is a man of the people, that during his administration he should ensure to carry the people along in the course of his government, in order to know the immediate needs of the people.

“As we are going to transit from one government to another soonest, there is the need for the people to put the incoming administration in prayer and ensure that the administration is given the needed support.

“The new government is coming with the desire to improve on the good work that my administration has done, so I am advicing the people pray for the administration to succeed in actualzing the promises made to the people.

“I sincerely want to thank AMAC residents for their support and prayers in the past six years of my administration. During my administration, I did not collapse or rushed to the hospital one day
