Aliko Dangote and others to star in BET documentary

Africa leaders, entrepreneurs are beginning to get recognition for their hard work as BET and Africa.com are coming together to present Africa Straight Up.

Africa Straight Up is an inspiring documentary that goes beyond the headlines to reveal the rich, complex truths about contemporary Africa.

Africa Straight Up features contributions from Nigeria’s finest big names, businessman Aliko Dangote, economist Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, philanthropist and entrepreneur Mo Ibrahim, entrepreneur Tony Elumelu, and musicians Lira (South Africa) and M.I. (Nigeria).

‎In the process of creating the documentary, Africa.com collected and cumulated stories from 12 African countries, showing the many different sides of the African experience, and also exploring the developments taking place in African government, technology, business and education.
