Use your PVCs for change –Tinubu urges Nigerians

The national leader of Nigeria’s main opposition party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu yesterday in Kano charged Nigerians to see the forthcoming general election as a common sense revolution in the country, using their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) tool for change.

Bola Tinubu who spoke to reporters in Kano shortly after commissioning Kano Corporate Security Institute as well as other projects executed by Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso’s administration called on Nigerians to come out en masse to vote with clean hand and heart for credible leaders.

The former Lagos state Governor further urged Nigerians to vote en mass for the APC so as to rescue the country from socio-economic and political quagmire created by the bad leadership style of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

“My message is that they should see the forthcoming election as a common sense revolution; common sense revolution to reform, re-change, get relieve, security of lives and property, eliminate corruption, and deception, recovery of the economy.

“This is the first nation that is moved from the platoon of economic prosperity. For oil to be selling at the highest price per barrel ever experienced in the world and to plummet to below 50 per cent and taking the country to recession at the same time; and if you cast you mind back to some few years back, various governors of this country and the entire population are being deceived about the excess crude.” He said

On Governor Kwankwaso’s performance, he said ,” I am extremely not only impressed but I am very proud that we have a vision, a commitment for a vision and sincere value in this government under Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso,” he concluded.

Kwankwaso on his part called on the residents of Kano to use their PVC wisely in the forthcoming general election by voting APC all round.

He, however, thanked Tinubu for honouring his invitation and as well congratulated the 1130 graduands of the security institute for being part of the training, describing them as ideal youths of the state.
