Economy: Guild Of Editors Urge Government To Focus On Agriculture
The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) on Thursday said government can no longer continue to pay lip service to agriculture in Nigeria if the economy will get out of the woods.
This was the view of speakers at the annual Nigeria Editor’s Conference currently holding in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The conference, which brings together senior editors and publishers from around the country, had in attendance some former governors, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed and the host governor, Mr Nyesom Wike.
This year’s event is expected to create a platform for experts and successful farmers to brainstorm on ways to develop agriculture as an option for a prosperous nation.
