PDP has failed in Kogi – Sen Dino
A member of the upper chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Dino Melaye has described the four-year administration of Captain Idris Wada in Kogi State as a complete disaster.
Speaking at the inauguration of members of committees for a successful handover on the 27th of this month in Lokoja yesterday, Sentor Melaye said the Captain Idris Wada led government has performed woefully despite the huge resources that came his way from the federation account and other sources.
Melaye who represents the western axis of the state at the national assembly added that the only visible achievement of the present administration is the “small roundabout with disco light at the front of Government House”.
He further pointed out that with young intellectually mobiled young man in the saddle, Kogi State would witness accelerated development, describing Alhaji Yahaya Bello as a reliable and capable hand that would pull the state out of the woods.
The lawmaker assured that they would guide and ensure that there is equitable distribution of power across the three senatorial districts of the state, even as he promised that those who worked for the success of the party at the poll would be handsomely rewarded.
He stressed that as for those who worked tirelessly for the success of the party at the poll but chose to “travel”, it would be the fault of anybody if they are left out in the sharing of positions, assuring that the Bello led administration would hit the ground running immediately it comes on board.
Responding on behalf of other members of the committees, former acting governor of the state, Chief Clarence Olafemi assured that they would not betray the confidence reposed in them, soliciting for the co-operation of the teeming supporters of the party to succeed.
